Orthopaedic Surgery is a structured and supportive community of specialists that continue to train the next generation of specialist Orthopaedic Surgeons. In my work at Austin Health and Monash Health at Dandenong Hospital, I serve as a training supervisor to mentor young surgeons. Both hospitals are University teaching hospitals for medical students at University of Melbourne and Monash University respectively. Through the AOA, I am regularly involved in the selection process to recruit the best and brightest talent to join our National training program. This ongoing cycle of learning and support is what has given me the opportunity to come to this stage in my career and it is with gratitude that I continue to support those who will continue after me.
